Eligibility Criteria for becoming a

Rose Contestant in 2012

A)  Be 18 years of age by January 1, 2012 and will not have reached her 28^th birthday on or prior to September 1, 2012

B)   Be unmarried, never been married

C)   Be born in Ireland or be of Irish origin by virtue of one of her ancestors having been born in Ireland

  D)  Never have previously represented any Centre as a Rose in

         the Regional Finals or International Rose of Tralee Selection

E)   Have resided in Canada for 3 years as of April, 2012

F)   Be available for Toronto Rose Selection events April 1, 2012 and April 13, 2012 (dates to be confirmed)

G)    If selected as the 2012 Toronto Rose, be available for the Regional Final in Portlaoise, Ireland from May 31^st – June 3^rd, 2012 (dates to be confirmed)

H)   If selected to move forward to International Festival events in Tralee, be available to attend same from August 10^th – 22^nd inclusive (dates to be confirmed)

Please note that it is your responsibility that you comply with all the above eligibility criteria.  Breach of the above will result in automatic disqualification.
